Julie & Julia

In the first year that Dr. Boy and I were dating, I feel deeply in love. With a blog. The Julie/Julia Project was the start of every day. It was neat - the author was about my age and in the nowhere part of her life. Just like me. And, I was working around the corner from Julia Child's home, and shopping at her favorite stores. It just resonated. Never read the book - didn't need to see it dandied up.

The movie is very good. In fact, in spite of what you've read, I'd say it's really good on the Julie and Julia side. Dr. Boy liked it though he was not initially excited. And, Meryl Streep is going to win an Oscar.

Go buy a ticket. You'll thank me.
