Stupid things that make me happy:

1. Went to Target, and saw their new reusable bag. For those of you outside of NYC, reusable bags are very au moment here, and I have to say that I’m glad. As an all-pro schlepper, I’m much happier swinging something that looks clean and neat, instead of a plastic grocery bags. Plus it’s easier on my hands. The Museum folks bought me my first one, and it sat in storage for a year while I tried to figure out what to do with it. Now I have 2 of those, one of these, and now 2 of the Target ones. I’ll never schlep plastic again. Besides, it's cute, right? Didn't see the small, bought the large. And, I already LURRV mine.

2. These obnoxiously marketed products are for “moms on the go.” THBBBBBTTTT!! But, y’know what? I looooooooooove them. I have the unfortunately named Grabbers, Tossers (seriously), Totes and Lifters. And, they make my life so much easier. Got ‘em on Amazon, if you too live in a desert of useful, affordable consumer conveniences.

3. Applebee's Weight Watchers meals. Still too salty, but improved over the last time I had them. School had Philly Cheese steaks, and I needed shampoo from Target, so I got takeout. Totally worth the $10 for a super-filling 7-point lunch.

4. We have IM at my office for interoffice only. I like it so much more than I should. It allows for quiet conversation across floors and through walls. And, occasionally making fun of someone who’s sitting at your desk.
